Belly Dance expands awareness of body and spirit. The circular and spiral movements create a vortex within the body will expand to handle more and more energy. This is a gradual process of expansion that is is life giving, regenerating, and loads of fun, regardless of experience level.
Book a GODDESS PARTY! Great for any age, a birthday, bachelorette, or other special occasion --- I show up in full regalia to spark the fun and imagination. I provide costuming, music, lessons, and will get your group of favorite females into the spirit. Its a great way to celebrate or commemorate friendships. Women say they will not try belly dance because of some perceived flaw -too thin, too fat, too old, too young. I PROMISE that this is not true ---every woman has belly dance moves within her!
The GODDESS parties are fun! I focus on basic moves, playing with veils, spinning, and learning to use the eyes to communicate the inner being. I will supply plenty of costume options, but I also encourage the participants to bring anything that feel sensual, exotic, and beautiful and free to move. Don't show up in sweat pants or work out clothes and expect to stay that way!
A GODDESS PARTY is $750 for up to 10 women, and is an additional $50 per person over that number. If outside the Wood River Valley, contact me regarding travel and cost arrangements. I will also reach out to other dancers if you want a full show!
