Debbie Martin paints large, expressive colorful works of acrylic on canvas that are influenced by her love of nature.
"When I paint I simply enjoy the energetic flow and the creative process. It is a joy to follow my passion. Inspiration is infinite and the desire to express is extremely pressing."
That he could be so fearless while photographing these magnificent whale sharks (and the sharks as well!) ---still blows me away! His wildlife photos amuse and delight me---he has a way of capturing the comical side of many animals, even the usually regal tigers and lions.
My sister Debbie Martin is the artist who painted the triptych featured in The Man and The Shark. She has been an inspiration throughout my life to follow my dreams, leading by example.
Debbie is a revered and collected artist---the brilliant colors in her impressionistic landscapes and intensely colorful abstracts makes her work uplifting and joy to take in.
Images that I used in the book and that were published in 11:11 Magazine are shown here.
Daryl Ambress Pritchard
is an avionics test engineer whose enjoyment of photography and scuba diving finds him capturing images of his favorite animals above and below the water’s surface, connecting with them through the lens of his camera. Some, like Paco shown in the photo with him, become his friends. He favors the Caribbean for his scuba diving and many of his underwater images are available for review and for sale.
