SOLES Y LUNAS SERIES
Mexico - My favorite place to relax and retreat. I love the riot of colors and textures, the collison and chaos that seems at the same time soothing in its exuberance and the joyful nature of the people. The beauty found in a sunset or a moonrise is enough.
Mexico allows me to live simply for a time, to feel that I am enough without excessive striving. Being present in the moment, learning the language, buying fresh produce, sleeping, laughing --- is enough.
I paint the suns and
moons, textures and colors of Mexico because I feel so very at ease and content.
